Building Stronger Foundations of Faith

Our Heart and Mission

Mission Statement

The Work of a Carpenter Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that began because God intervened in the lives of a young couple that paid Him no attention at all. He raised up this desire to share the Gospel and go tell of just how real He has shown Himself to be in our lives.

But there is an additional burden that drives this ministry forward and that is for the daily walk of believers. Our hope is to be a part of what God is doing to strengthen worship, shore up the daily discipline of abiding in Christ, and to illustrate, in real time, what the Word of God means by being “salt and light.”

Benevolence

As the Lord leads us and as resources allow, we have had the honor of getting to help other families in need with repairs to their home or building such things as wheelchair ramps or helping to pay for automotive repair.

We have also gotten to give benevolent gifts to families who are stuck at the hospital with their child. We know from experience how miraculous it is to receive such a gift while taking care of your child at the hospital.

This was something we wanted to spell out in our charter at the very beginning of this ministry so that we could, quite simply, pay it forward.

There is never a charge when we show up to churches nor for the benevolence projects we do. We are so grateful for each, and every, donation of any amount that allows us to operate in this fashion.

God has provided for every mile and morsel since we began so, please know that, every donation that we get is part and parcel of God’s math.

He indeed provides!
